Tried their pork katsu with egg. It was quite watery and thus soggy. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that. But the flavour was not bad and service was good. They also have English menu and many sets. The view of the lake is also great.#localguides

Oh my god. Their Unagi eel rice is so darn good. So fresh and tender. Much better than all the unagi rice I've ever had in Michelin restaurant. Three sentences you need to know in Japan.Kawaiii Oishiiii Sigoiiii

Try the hoto noodles which was absolutely filling ! (It expands in your stomach after) Most of the restaurants here are closed between lunch and dinner.

For such a location, it didn't seem that touristy, though it had a very convenient English menu and easy ordering sets. Loved the free parking onsite, the lakeview out the window, bathroom facility, easy ordering, complimentary water and tea.The combo menu sets were HUGE. Omg the noodles are delicious and so big. Jaw drops. Really delicious too I must say.Quite happy to find this place.

A restaurant with a good view of lake Kawaguchiko. Serves a variety of food like noodles, eel and meat. The hotto noddles is recommended. The soup has a warm taste and has fused with the many vegetables that was boiled with it to create a flavour that is refreshing and not overdoing it ay the same time.

It right next door to the hotel I'm staying. Also they got English menu and the portion is enough to make you full. Came here two nights in row, and the foods are great. They also have a section with Japanese style seating.

I had order live fish sashimi, oh wow that great

Fresh salmon sashimi, very fresh eel, hot and delicious hoto udon noodles. Good service, comfortable seating (on the tatami or on proper chairs). We paid about 85USD for 3 pax. Only negative bit was the tonkotsu - not very tasty and the cut was too thick. Shochu was a bit flat too.

In 3 days, I visited this restaurant for 3 times. I just love their noodles. It’s even thicker than udon, very chewy, very slippery. Also their noodle soup is vegetarian! I haven’t eaten pure vegetarian noodle for a long time now in japan. It usually has a piece of Chashu or some seafood as topping. But the noodle soups here only have various vegetables like pumpkins, onions, etc.The only thing I’m not so satisfied with is the cleanliness of the table.

A very simple place with wonderful food. Definitely worth the visit is you're in the area. I had the whole trout with noodles and we're already planning to go back tomorrow!

Great food around this area. I recommend the grilled meat, which is actually the pork. The Hot Noodle is good as well especially in the winter.

Good food and service at a good price. And a good view.

Good range of menu choices, but a bit pricey.

Good was great, service was good, nice view from the restaurant too. You can choose to sit Japanese or Western style and the menu is available in English. I had the hoto noodles with mushrooms. The portions were large so we shared. Left full and happy.

The food is really nice.. There's a variety for pork, beef, and seafood. But I hope there'll be group meals in the future. It's really nice to share with friends and family.

Busy restaurant, good food. English menu. Takes credit card. We used AMEX.

Lovely staff and the restaurant has good vegetarian options. The flat udon in veggie broth was nice and they will substitute all tempura for vegetarian ones.

Service was quick and friendly. Unfortunately was not offered wet napkins to start, and table was a little sticky. That aside, food was very delicious. We had the Hoto noodles and local freshwater fish, as well as horse sashimi. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. Good menu with many languages for non-Japanese speaking customers. Enjoyed the food very much. The place offers mat seating as well as chair seating for customers who are not used to sitting on the floor.

Hotta udon Noodles and curry pork cutlet rice is great. Noodle is tasty and pork is fresh. Price is reasonable too. Order came surprisingly faster than expected as there were many ppl when we were there. Everyone seems to order the pot noodle, but we did not order. Will return tk try that next time!

We had a great time here. Food was good and comforting on a cold evening. Pricing is very economical. Overall great experience. It also has some vegetarian options and most importantly, a menu in English.

A very hospitable place with English menu upon request despite being more expensive. The kimchi houtou was very flavourful and the side dishes were great.

Big portions of food, I had the tonkatsu which was really crispy but tender inside, I enjoyed the whiskey highball. My wife ordered the tempura box, also big portions (she could not finish it). Would definitely come back.

Excellent services, polite, trying their best to understand English speaking customers. I went to Kawaguchiko for two days trip, and the hotel recommended us to have dinner here.

Lots of food, served by a lovely energetic old lady. I had the tempura combo meal, which was excellent!

If you are staying around the area, you should visit the restaurant early in case there are no more space. The Hana noodle is their specialty and it does taste nice. It is a bit like the Ban Mian in Singapore with lots of vegetables.
Mel Phua
I had the tempura combo! Portion was just nice and i really enjoyed the variety of tempura :)) batter for the tempura was very light and not too greasy

Was already closed at 8pm.

Quality and variety of food were great - but they are somewhat understaffed so expect to wait to be seated (food comes out quick enough though). Their 'houtou udon' is flavourful and the tempura delicious...though on the oilier side for tempura.
